..in Iraq, and now the Iraqi govt will demand it permanently leave, and its about damn time. The US military in its report has already reaffirmed the Iraqi conclusion that Blackwater opened fire without provocation and used excessive force against Iraqi civilians, and they were being soft on these trigger happy mercenaries whose sole aim was to cash in and then get the hell out no matter how many or who they had to kill in order to do so. There are many here still in denial about just how far Blackwater Iraq has sunk.. but the reality is poor management, inept and only profit-hungry, hiring to many has-been "operators" to milk the US govt for all it can while it can. Blackwater needs to stick to its stateside training business and leave the battlefield for the professionals and hopefully now with an Iraqi govt asserting its sovereignty, it will be forced to.

You lost all credibility right there. Exactly what type of person does Blackwater hire? Former military, most with years of experience.

Blackwater does a useful service over there.

The Iraqi's will be more unsafe without them. Good, they will be wishing they had BW escorts when the next Jihadi blows up the governmental motorcade.

JKSTexas,

he lost credibility long before "for the professionals". it was somewhere around "about damn time" or "without provocation".

What kind of retard thinks contractors would just randomly drive into a square with four cars and light it up just for fun? From what I can tell, nobody sits anywhere for very long in iraq, doing so just invites an attack.

So to just drive into a square and start shooting is idiotic. just like this poster

Blackwater hasn't lost VIP to the bad guys. For that reason alone, they will keep their jobs. With that kind or reputation, Blackwater can make even more money back home training: cops, security guards, and mall ninjas for years and years!

Wow, where to begin? You base your comments on exactly what? Your years of experiance in the Box? Your in depth knowledge of the inner workings of Corporate BW? Exactly what do you base that last statement on? As far as milking the US government for all it can, thats the American way baby.

strike three

Oh, by the way, go kill yourself.

Too bad Murtha, Rather, and their ilk ruined it for shitbags like you, buddy.

Now pretty much everyone has learned that the original version of some atrocity, or breathrough story, is bullshit. Espescially if it comes from the mainstream media, or any Arab organization, or even worse, the US Congress.

Toodles, asshole.

I love how everyone jumps all over him for "wasting" his second post on bringing up a legitimate discussion. Although he might be biased, many of you automatically discount his opinion because he hasn't amassed a post count based on "+1"s to shit like dinner threads and "pics of Lootie now!"

Why is there so much love here for Blackwater? I'm not saying they don't have a right to protect themselves, and I don't think they're evil baby killers, but isn't it entirely possible that they could've gotten a little too gung-ho and jumped the gun in this situation so to speak? People (even Blackwater supermen) make mistakes.

And why the need for private security contractors in the first place? Oh, I forgot, 'cause the POTUS/VP/SecDef bit off more than they could chew and tried to conquer, occupy, and "liberate" people who neither wanted or knew how to in fact be free, all with troop strength that was 1/4 what it should be.
