That would be me. I think you have to be at least level 43 to have enough layers to make it.

My COD Black Ops rendition:

Picture is kinda crappy quality, couldn't get one that didn't look hazy... also tried to make the gold outline on the thunderbolt, but it didn't look right in game.

I just did a BFL. I did it in ten layers. I'll give you a few suggestions on how to make it easy.

1. Make each layer a different color while working so they contrast each
other. Change everything to the correct colors when you're done.

2. Create all layers first and let the edges overlap so you know which layers are on top.

3. Make the first circle large enough to fit the square to get it
centered, then shrink it to the proper size. Use this centered cirle as a
guide to get get other circles centered.

4. Make an "X" and a "+" with the thin rectangles to get them lined up in the square, then shrink them to size.

5. Look at a real BFL while working on it to get the proportions right.

I'm currently a level 40 and would like to make a BFL, could someone post what pages to find the shapes on?

Thanks

Here's mine, I still need to do some tweaking but it's fairly close to being correct. Being a Ranger I went with the "Black & Gold" color scheme, It was actually pretty easy to figure out thanks to some of the other people who posted theirs.

The white dot on the right hand side is just glare from the cell phone flash.

I made mine, thanks to all the tutorials here.  Otherwise, I would have been far too lazy to figure out which emblems I needed to make it.

..and here is the one I was rocking before.  I haven't skated or rode bikes in a long time.....but I still rock DC shoes.  Comfortable as hell.

thanks !

I got mine done and for PS3 users..........

I found the images on these pages

page 1-circle
page 11-the ring & wide rectangle
page 16-curved line
page 19- thin rectangle

and like they said it was best to start with two thin rectangles in a plus sign, then two more again but rotated in the x position.

Wow, I've had this since day 1.  Had to sacrifice the extractor detail for a non-black head area.  And lol at the same Clan Tag.  I guess there really is an AR15 clan.

Perfect!!!    I thought for a while how to make it perfect and BAM!

Very simple!
All of the lugs are made by the "Rectangle Thin" shape.  One "Rectangle Thin" piece will create 2 lugs, each one on opposite sides of the bolt such as top/bottom and left/right.  Make the first one and then duplicate with the X button and rotate.

To make the ejector and bottom right lug you must make the "Rectangle Thin" shape a little smaller and then place it so that the ejector end is shorter than the lugs but the bottom right lug is the same length as the other lugs.  This will be a balancing act between correct lengths versus noticeable width.  The bottom right lug will be narrower than the other lugs but is barely noticeable.

For the ejector detail I used the "Rectangle Wide" but changed color and made it smaller.  Then for the curved part I used the same "Curved Line" as everyone else however I made it big enough to follow the curve of the bolt.  The trick comes in placing 2 "Rectangle Wide" pieces at each end so they angle the ends and shorten them correctly.

And for the ejector spring thingy, I made the firing pin first and then the ejector spring thingy so that I could shrink the spring thingy until the firing pin fit perfectly in the ring, making them appear as one before moving it to its appropriate location.

Follow this order of layering using the following order of creation.

Layer 1: "Ring"                                -ejector spring thingy- (white)
Layer 2: "Circle"                              -firing pin- (white)
Layer 3: "Circle"                              -bolt face- (gray)
Layer 4: "Rectangle Wide"              -end of the ejector detail arc- (white)
Layer 5: "Rectangle Wide"              -end of the ejector detail arc- (white)
Layer 6: "Curved Line"                    -ejector detail arc- (gray)
Layer 7: "Rectangle Thin"               -top and bottom lugs- (white)
Layer 8: "Rectangle Thin"               -left and right lugs- (white)
Layer 9: "Rectangle Thin"               -bottom left and top right lugs- (white)
Layer 10: "Rectangle Wide"            -ejector detail- (gray)
Layer 11: "Rectangle Thin"             -ejector and bottom right lug- (white)
Layer 12: "Ring"                              -bolt face outline- (white)

I made them in a different order to make it easier to line up as I went along.
The order I made them in:
7
8
12
9
11
3
10
6
4
5
2
1

Now rock on with your own BFL!
