Some "Sarnts" don't mind that sloppy pronounciation, and some do.

What's amazing is the amount of time I spend on here reading tech forums and occaisonally (rarely) asking questions in them trying to learn. Most of my posts are in GD, and in Hometown. The only tech forum I post in on a regular basis is Glock. I know a lil something about glocks. Until a year or so ago my only experience with long guns were bolt guns. I've learned a LOT here.

Who cares, he was to busy having a better Texas accent than any texan I've ever known. And someone explain this to me.

The guy that played Captain Steel is an english guy. He had an overexagerated accent I think, unless the real Captain Steel talks like that.
 Eric Bana, Ewan McGregor, and even Orlando Bloom all did a pretty good job of doing an American accent in my opinion.

When I was in the army it seemed to me that anyone with a very heavy southern accent and was an E-5 or higher always somehow managed to say Sarn't instead of Sargeant.
This is my 2 cents worth. |
