I turned 50 today. I was feeling bad about it till I thought of how my mom must feel now that her youngest is 50. I had a bunch a friends over on Sunday for a combination Labor Day/Bday feast. We had beef brisket. I have pics of it cooking but got too busy to do a dinner pic.
So I thought I'd rectify that tonight. It's a rather simple dinner. Two small NY Strips with Chimichurri Sauce, long grain wild rice, sauted zuchini and a tomato and spinach salad with a homemade white balsamic vinegar dressing.

Such nice presentation,blazing with bright colors...
But.. WTF is up with that napkin ? Should have put one of those special display napkins your wife keeps near the special plates right behind the special wine glassesfor the pic.  10/10 |
