Anyone have any thoughts on this? I for one would def rock an BFL on my jersey when I ride. Maybe if we get enough people and talk to the mods we can get some made up? My LBS has jerseys made so I could prob get a line but would prob need to have 25-50 made......Let me know what you think.

Now that we have a few of the top colors picked I need a couple designs to chose from in the top 2 colors. Lets try to keep it simple. Once we have a design we can take the next step.

That would be kinda neat, actually.

Heck, I'd be in for one. It'd be funny to have a BFL on riding around Austin.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 4:47:37 AM EST
this is a grey area, the BFL is a registered logo of ARFCOM, to be safe i would obtain expressed written consent from the site owner.

i heard a few years back about a guy using the BFL with out permission... its didnt end well.

If no profit is involved the owner probably would be more willing to grant permission.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 4:48:05 AM EST
Cue the bicycle rider haters...
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 4:56:28 AM EST
I knew we would have to have permission....maybe they could sell them in the ARFCOM store......I know it wouldnt be a huge market. I am just looking for a new jersey and I would love to support my favorite site when I ride....its either this or a rockracing.com jersey but they are terribly overpriced.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 4:56:33 AM EST
I'd be in for one.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:04:13 AM EST
same here
heck i might get one for my dad as well

My old man and I would look great sporting some boltface bike jerseys!
I will be watching the arfcom store!

Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:10:22 AM EST
I'd buy one right now...screw those shaved leg advertiser/poser riders....
I ride several days a week...I want one now....Now damn it. And I have lots-o-cash so print me one bitch!

Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:14:37 AM EST
hell I don't even ride but this might convince me to get into road biking...been thinking more and more about it lately. Tried mountain biking once but I don't think that's for me
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:18:08 AM EST
are we talking stickers for the brain bucket or patches for a vest or pedal bike skin tight shirts with the logo -

ps - didnt someone have a BFL trailer / tow hitch that lights up when you brake?????? i wouldnt mind one of those

a bulk order could be configured for a cost of 60-80 bucks each plus a kickback to the site for logo usage / Avila ammo fund?
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:33:27 AM EST
lol maybe not the yellow but something like that with maybe AR15.COM across the pockets.......something sweet for sure. I know I would buy two and a couple friends would buy one at least.......maybe blacks and greys and whites to match the forum skins......check rockracing.com to see what Ideas I have seen that just look sick

and thus the joy of herding cats commences

getting 87 people to agree on a design/colors will be epic and quite annoying

Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:48:04 AM EST
Don't forget about the trathlete guys.

lol not trying to get the 87 people to match.....just saying something nuetral would work.....blacks greys whites.....yellow is a good color if you have a yellow/black bike just as red is a good color if you have a red bike.....swiss colors that would work with every bike would prob sell more/cost less. I dont care about colors just would love to be riding and see a BFL in the peleton.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 5:54:53 AM EST
I would be in for one as long as they are not those racer jerseys made for skinny ass, 0% body fat serious riders.

How about marpat as the background pattern?

I'm thinking a zombie with a fleshlight & SIIHP&PP on the back & a goose on the front in 3XL
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 6:03:23 AM EST
I'm in.

Create a poll or external survey to choose colors.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 6:09:55 AM EST
I am in on this, but were are the bibs????
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 6:10:56 AM EST
I'd go for that- maybe a Gadsden somewhere too!
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 6:11:27 AM EST
I'd be in for a jersey... not yellow though....well, I'd think about it..and if that was the only colour...probably would anyway.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 6:15:37 AM EST
I'd be in for the jersey...just like to one you designed there. I like the yellow. Seems to really stand out to me, when driving the car down the same highway that we kill lots of bikers on here in Austin every year.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 6:58:15 AM EST
there is a reason why black red yellow & white are on dangerous things like snakes & pirates
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 7:13:46 AM EST
Heck yeah, I have the BFL stickers on my bikes now...
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 7:28:44 AM EST
I'm in for a jersey.

Pass on the shorts. My old school opinion is that cycling took a hard turn for the ghey by allowing non-black shorts.

I'd be interested in a Jersey, it should definitely say AR15 on it someone, might make drivers keep more distance when passing

edit. Full zip, race cut jersey would be preferred.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 8:02:44 AM EST
Why no red, white and blue in the poll?

Hard turn and hard on the throttle.

I had custom jersey's made at mt borah, they do good work.
The lead time on having them made is several weeks so the sooner the better.
The quantity discount applies to jerseys of the same style, like all sleeveless or all short sleeve. I like the sleeveless ones, they are cooler in the summer.
The zipper length isn't a big deal to me.

I would like one, but more of a off-road style jersey like these. Either way I am in.

Link Posted: 4/30/2009 9:04:42 AM EST
Will give the poll a couple days then try to get ahold of site admin for permission to use or to suggest selling in store.

I would love to have a motorcycle jersey with the Boltface logo on one side and the Husqvarna Gun-sight on the other.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 10:27:05 AM EST
G/f and I would each be in for a jersey, and maybe a pair of shorts too.

You do know that any bike rider that wears multi colored cloths may well be a bit light in the loafers?
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 10:43:15 AM EST
Eh, I'm in.

Count me in for one of these. Great idea.

ETA: maybe grey & black with tan/khaki? Anything is cool though.

Sort of like this... bolt face logo inside the circles, maybe "www.ar15.com" or "arfcom" down the sides?

Link Posted: 4/30/2009 10:46:21 AM EST
i'm in for one!
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 10:48:11 AM EST
Do want.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 10:52:34 AM EST
I'd probably get one.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 11:13:37 AM EST

I'm in for a jersey. I guess any color would do. I vote for bolt logo only, I don't want ar15.com on my jersey. I prefer it to be a subtle "inside joke" and not an ad.

Link Posted: 4/30/2009 12:59:36 PM EST
I'm in too.
Link Posted: 4/30/2009 1:04:51 PM EST
I might go for a BFL jersey.
