This site is getting so expansive I wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to let everyone know of a fraudulent "gunsmith" out there (thankfully not associated with AR15.com).

This time last year, I decided to get into the 300BLK realm(a birthday present for lasting 50 years on this earth). I bought myself a barrel from www.fightingsheepdog.com. Actually I bought two barrels. One chambered in 300BLK and one in 223WYLDE. The payment went through and I received two barrels a few weeks later. Unfortunately the 223W was twisted in 1/10, not the 1/8 that was specified in the original price quotation. I contacted "Rachel" at www.fightingsheepdog.com immediately and arranged to send it back. That was the last I heard from them until July when I opted to put a hold on the Discover Card account
-BTW - for those of you who ever had a dispute with a vendor and used the credit card as leverage... know this: you may only make one dispute per charge.

Having received the assurances of the same "Rachel" of Fighting Sheepdog, I canceled the dispute (to my loss) thinking I would receive my barrel soon. It is now one year later. I have written letters, emails. I have tried to call by phone (for a long time nobody was answering the phone there in Powell, Tennessee). I tried using their proprietary "contact" form on the website
-all to NO AVAIL.

So, just that you folks become aware. It has been over a year and I have yet to receive my 223wylde barrel. I have received no notice or contact from the owner "John" (a supposed honorable veteran) or his company. I am out the cost of a barrel as well as shipping in two directions (receipt and return).

Fighting Sheepdog of Powell Tenn. is not someplace you should waste your money. BEWARE

In my experience, Discover is horrible at dispute resolution.

I live about 30 minutes from their location. I have not heard of them, but someone may have.

Time to start ordering pizza delivery to their location....

Sounds like they went under.

In that case, you could file a claim under the normal process for doing so against a bankrupt business entity, which means that you will probably never see a dime.

You are already into "diminishing to no" returns for your time and trouble invested.

Chalk it up to a lesson learned the hard way and move on.

I know I haven't discovered the nooks and crannies of this site, but it's getting ridiculous. Wait until they are forced to have a "transexual corner" or LBGT forum, because some idiot who likes guns shot his barrel off (get it) and sues to have his/her/it's own forum to feel special... I mean like one of the "guyz"?

I know this guy who hated his neighbors dog and slipped him some poison, well it didn't work out to well for the poisoner who later got in trouble numerous times with his wife for having women and men leave him phone messages (no cell phone) looking for love. Then it all came to a head when the gay porn showed up in the mailbox (oh my). The poor guy  then went on a alcohol/drug binge after having a homosexual affair with his dads friend, luckily the local Kingdom's hall Jehovas witness' were available to counsel him at 7 am Saturday morning. I don't know what happened to him, he moved. I sure hope he's ok.
