It will be funny when they realize we need the Green House Affect to survive. Another tree hugger project. Mind you there are somethings they do that are important. I wonder who put him up to this, and how mush money he is getting. There is a company out there that has a device to stop the gasses and they want in. We need to buy stock in it if we can find it.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA... (some might know why I laugh) Sure, we need the greenhouse effect, but it doesn't help when we're dumping a ton of C02 into the atmosphere than we need to be. I'm not going to jump into this one very much...

By 2009 I don't think it will matter. Davis will keep raising the tax and registration so that nobody can afford a car.

http://www.envirotruth.org/climate_change_debate.cfm "Despite the rhetoric of the Kyoto Accord CO2 is at best a minor contributor to global climate change. The proportion of CO2 in the atmosphere has varied significantly over geologic time. Through most of the last 500 million years CO2 levels have been higher - up to 18 times higher - than at the present time." I don't think we have much control over the environment. That's giving humans too much credit for controlling something that has been occurring naturally for millions of years. However, by the time the next ice age rolls around, you had better hope we learn how to increase the temperature of the planet, or canada will be gone.

As someone who doesn't live in CA, I think that if davis signs it, it could be a boon to simon. Then hopefully simon can have it repealed. Either way, CA sucks, politically speaking.

Now why did I just know this was Kommiefornia? Like who the hell's gonna be around there in 2009? BTW- Pretty funny topic.

It seems that most of these regulations are actually making things worse. We'd have all kinds of nifty clean, and fuel efficient diesel vehicles in the US if it weren't for the latest EPA regs...

you can run but you can't hide. Just like the other auto emisson requirements California was the first to require, eventually the other states adopted them too.

Furthering the Socialist Agenda. Eliminate cars for us common folks, and only the self-appointed elite will have private vehicles. Remember some time ago when some politician said people should be "forced" to use public transport? Don't recall the details such as name, etc., but I do know what he said. In the commie days of Moscow, the party elite had special lanes to drive down the street at high speed. No privilege is too much for the elite.
