Need my DD214 for a license I'm applying for.

I have it in my records folder but it's packed away in a box deep in my storage garage.  I thought I would have moved all that stuff out of there by now but...it is what it is.

What's the best way to get a copy of your DD214 these days?  Would prefer to get an electronic copy within the week.  I requested a digital records CD from the Navy several years ago and I remember it taking months.  And that CD is in the records folder.

Need it in under a week?  Hire someone to sort through your storage locker and find it, then scan both copies, profit.

Will take me a couple weeks to get to the storage place as I'm traveling for while...otherwise I would :(

When I requested my Dads from HRC SL (before they moved) it took six months.

An hour or so of setting up an account. Then another hour or so for the system to find your dd214.

Is that from the national archives?  Been out only 7 years so it wouldn't have made it their yet.

Can't you get a copy through ebenefits? I filed mine with the county courthouse so an official copy is always nearby.

ETA: Yeah, in with the 30 other posters before me with the same answer

Sort of.

You should be able to get a copy just fine.  If not, IM/email me tomorrow.
