The Jewell is rather sweet and best of all you can trade $175 American dollars for one and have it in your rifle within four or five days.
There are reported to be better triggers but they require the sacrifice of small fury animals to get and the wait is several months.
My Jewell adjusted down to less than one half of one pound as measured with a RCBS trigger pull scale. No over travel, no creep, no grit. The trigger pull is more of a trigger press. After spending an afternoon plinking with my carbines I have to be very careful when I pick up my target rifle. If I put my finger into the guard the rifle had better be down range. At half a pound it's not legal for competition but can be adjusted very simply by shot gunning the rifle open and moving a spring lever into a different setting groove.
