The Marines are gonna flatten Falloujah.

It's about damn time.

I hope they raze that city to the frickin' ground.  I'm talking not one brick left on top of another.  And then I want 'em to do the Roman thing and sow salt in their fields, kill all their livestock and burn all their crops.

Oh yeah, and hear the lamentation of their women too.

I'm all about the liberal use of MLRS and MOAB's personally.  then send the marines in to mop up, literally.

Should Bush win:  The ability to once again bust on him with a clean conscience.
Should Kerry win: The SNL skits... otherwise, nothing...

Actually, I think the best thing to do would be kill at least 70 or 80 percent of all men age 17 to 40.  That's what we did to the Germans in WWII, and that seemed to take the fight right out of 'em.  That's the problem with Iraq right now.  Too many fighting age men.  The reality is that they need to be killed.  Unless they surrender unconditionally of course.

Your WWII data is badly flawed.

I guess it could be.  It seems like I read one time that by the end of the war, 70 to 80 percent of German fighting age men had been killed, captured or wounded.

But I could be mistaken.  The point still stands though.  You kill off the fighting age population of a country and they can't fight anymore.

Broadly speaking of course.

I hear reports of Iraqi Policemen getting blown up and gunned down in large numbers quite often - even at the recruiting stations.   Are you saying we should help the terrorists by killing them too?

Or is this just a rant?

Regardless of outcome, I don't want to be a Fallujahn on Nov 3.

Last numbers I saw had us loosing 2 friendly Iraqis (Nat. Guard, Police) to 1 of our guys.

I"m looking forward to never hearing the names John Kerry or John Edwards ever again. Let these asshole, useless fucksticks go back to being the anonymous personalities that they were before the RATS put them in the limelight by nominating these shitheads to lead our country.

I suppose we wouldn't want to kill any friendlies, but I didn't think they had any friendlies in Falloujah.  From what I've heard its over run by terrorists.

Oh, and I suppose it's a rant too.  I'm sick of Falloujah.  I can't imagine how frustrated our troops must be.

WTF?  Negative. You have definitely not been paying attention to the news.  And you certainly haven't been around here!  All of the incidents get posted on the board.  What about the recent stink of all the unarmed police getting mowed down on their way back home???

Duh.  Sorry.  I completely missed what city you were talking about.

Yes, the majority are the enemy in that locale.  But a MOAB is a little overkill.

Nope, I pay attention to the news and read a lot around here.  I just don't see many posts or stories talking about how many Iraqis are going down...as it's not news.  Americans want to hear about Americans.  Similar to why we don't really hear about what's going down in the Phillipians.

So you're saying it's greater than 2:1?  Ok, the point is still the same.

No problemo!  I'm sure our military will handle the situation in the best possible way.  I'm just venting a little.

Even though we are obviously on the same side concerning our support for the war and our support for President Bush's plan for addressing the war, I must disagree that coalition deaths are not an issue amongst Americans.

We need coalition forces.  Along with that coalition, are the Iraqis.  Granted, we all have a bias when it comes to the LEVEL of importance, but we do not dismiss the deaths of coalition volunteers.
