The perfect sound needs to be based on a high-reving V8 or V12, and needs to be turbocharged within an inch of its structural integrity. Ferrari has probably done this combo the best.

Fourth and fifth gears really scream at speed. It is (IIRC) a clutchless, synchronous manual transmission (note that his left leg never moves while he is shifting). |

the gt has a great exhaust note, but here are some competitors I happen to enjoy more:
