In your opinion, who's done the best performance of the National Anthem? Carrie Underwood does a pretty good job.

Vocally, I like the simple, unadulterated versions.
That being said, Dave Mustaine did an instrumental guitar version for an MTV Rock 'N Jock charity softball game back in the '90s. He played the first part very cleanly, then added some very convincing sounds of combat using his guitar at the end that blew what Hendrix did out of the water. I loved hearing it, since it truly reminded me that freedom is paid for in blood. There's no good example of the whole thing on youtube, but the first half can be found. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Do it justice, or don't fucking do it. Whitney Houston, Steven Tyler and Rosanne Barr can all choke on a fat sack of aid infected dicks for what they did to our national anthem. I wish I was there when they did it. I would have slit their throats, pulled their tongues through the slit then skull fucked them to death for fucking it up so badly.
Pardon the rant, but it REALLY fucking means something to me. It is more than a song. It is bigger than some fuck stain artist trying to add their "flair" to the song. It is bigger than all of us. It is as sacred as the Ten Commandments and the flag itself. |
