If you were in a Ban state what would you go with? No pistols yet.

I'd probably go with a familiar to you shotgun with some 3" #00 loads.
Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 are good bets. |

I like how the CA guy jumps on it for us. Shotgun or lever action rifle would be my go to guns in a state where no semi auto rifles were allowed. But Seriously....if at all possible I wouldn't continue to financially support a state that didn't think I had the right to defend myself with a semi auto rifle. |

Ban state other than California where you can own preban mags? AR15.
California? A shotgun or pistol. I don't want to have to use a bullet button if more than three people break in at once. |
|
Whichever one will pick me up and move me out of said ban state.

pre Remington fucking them up Marlin 336 30-30 or Marlin 1894 44Mag

I live in a non ban state. My HDW is a 12 ga semi auto. Buckshot ftw.
|

I bought an SKS specifically to have a defensive rifle when I'm in a state where my AR ain't welcome.
I'd go with an SKS, or a 12Ga loaded with 00 or #1 buck. This decision is also dependent on your AO. What distances do you expect to engage at? What are your surroundings? Some of you guys are fucking retarded. You know, to some people, things like family, and career are more important than magazine capacity. |

I haven't really found the lack of a bayonet lug to significantly impede my home defense capabilities. AKA What the blue fuck are you talking about??? |
|
name something non nfa that you want, dont listen to these chuckleheads my bayonet lugs are just as deadly as theres are. Get want you want, my pick is an AR with an aimpoint and a light.

U.S. Carbine, Cal. 30, M1.
I used one for home defense for awhile before I got my AR-15. Still have a beat one in my trunk. |

Whatever. I have an AK close at hand. I'll still pick up the Shotgun first. It's never failed me when I needed it to go boom. |

this! my wife is from CT . i lived there for one yr feb 04 to feb 05 , i couldnt take thier bs gun laws & rude people so we decided to move to VA because she didnt want to go back to SC and i refused to live in CT. |

Here you dont want to do it with any semi rifle or pistol. Single shot, revolvers or pump actions if you must.
|
|
A single shot .410 loaded with birdshot?
Seriously, a pump action shotgun is the logical choice here. Speed |
