Let me hear your ideas on how to best get rid of a hangover.

God, I cringed as I read that. |

He asked for a hangover cure, not a suicide recipe. |
Bloody Mary always works for me. make sure that it is Grey Goose Vodka though...
This guy has the best idea yet. |
Boycott Grey Goose Vodka. That shit is made by the Frogs (France)...I wouldn't drink that coward piss for anything. |
So its Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey Juice? |
YEP. Plenty of other good handcrafted Vodkas available without having to resort to drinking socialist coward juice. |
the only reason some good vodkas are french is because russia outlawed it for a while and all the vodka makers moved to france to carry on.
thats the only french anything im buying though. chinese food works well for hangovers. lo mein noodles. grey goose is the best vodka ever. stolichnaya(sp) is garbage. |
I am going to get the chineese food ASAP. Stoli is the best for the price. I don't always have $40 to blow on a bottle of vodka. |
Isn't it true that Grey Goose went to the world vodka championships in Russia and bought what is now Grey Goose from Bacardi? I'm almost certain I heard that on the history channel.
EDIT TO ADD: If you want to help a hangover, hit a deer on New Year's Eve like I did. Apparently I should have been doing more shooting during season. |
if no grey goose is available then belevedere is the next best. i have no idea where its from though.
i still havent found any kalashnikov vodka though. |
Grey Goose is good stuff. I also like Absolut and Smirnoff.
The only cure is time (as no one wants to hear). Water, gatorade, aspirin, and rest are good for mitigating the effects. I have also found if one drinks water prior to falling into an alcohol induced sleep, the hangover is not quite so severe. |
I heard this but haven't tried it yet since I don't drink Vodka... Buy a bottle of cheap vodka, run it through a Brita water filter a couple times. As good as the Grey Goose for much cheaper. |

Grey Goose is good vodka, however for what is commericially available I prefer Chopin. It's made from potatoes so it's what I think of as being authentic vodka. Note: I said what I think of as being authentic.
However, a good friend brought back some vodka from Russia from a business trip that was just absolutely otustanding. It's in abottle showing what I think is St. Petersburg cathedral ant has the following on the front: AONROBYKNN. That's the closest I can get to the Russian letters in English. REALLLY GOOD STUFF! edited to add: best cure for a hangover: lots of water, about six 325 mg aspirin tablets and a shower so hot I can't hardly stand it. Back to bed for an hour to an hour and a half and I'm good to go. |

In order of preference:
1. Bloody mary 2. 100% Oxygen and 1000ml of Normal Saline with M.V.I. (used to be medevac) 3. X large Power Punch Plus smoothie from Smoothie King 4. Icy cold Chocolate malt from a good diner or ice cream shop. 5. Ice water p.s. all of the above work better if you can find a room with no windows and the AC set at 55 degrees F p.p.s. All of these work, trust me I'm a pilot. |

Learn some self control. If you don't want a hangover don't get wasted.
Yeah I'm wondering if maybe that should be No. 1, it is amazing how well you feel after it. |
You guys know NOT to take Tylenol right... It does something bad too your liver to mix the two. And eat carbs, heavy drinking lowers your blood sugar so carbs and orange juice will help too bring your sugar back up.

Bacardi bought the brand GreyGoose from an AMERICAN, Sidney Frank, for 2.2 billion in 2004. |
The company is owned by Americans though. And it's really good booze. |
Buy higher quality alcohol?
I drank like a fish and I have no hangover. |
Take a large glass and fill it almost to the top with lukewarm gravy (the kind that has a few flour lumps and a little grease floating on top) Then add a a glob of hair from the bathtub drain for dressing. Chug it down without stopping and you'll be cured!!!

I knew one of ya would show up sooner than later. Lighten up, it was New Years Eve. |
Usually I leave a chair with a pint of water sitting on it on top of my bed. The Idea being that I will drink the water before going to bed. Normally it works perfectly and I never get that much of a hangover.
This morning however I woke up sleeping beside a chair and covered in water |
+1 thats the first thing that crossed my mind when I read the thread title. |
