I want to fill in a walnut stock where a chunk has come out (not big/ deep enough to affect the integrity of the stock). Who makes a good quality wood filler that will hold up to the recoil of a shotgun once cured?
Hopefully I can find a filler that's a close match to the wood already, if not I'm willing to try my luck at getting a stain-able one and buying some stain too.
I found this in a quick search, but have no idea if it's complete crap or worth a try: Link

How big of a chunk? You could try a 2 part epoxy mixed with fine walnut sanding dust for color.

Not very, a couple square inches at the most, and maybe 1/8 inch deep.
