The wife and I are heading downtown tomorrow for the St. Patrick's Day parade and debauchery.
Any good beer to keep an eye out for?

Killian's is crap. There's nothing Irish about it. And its only red from food coloring.

Just remember... You have to drink Guinness in pairs... A bird cannot fly on one wing.
You should also drink a shot of Jameson in between.
Or for some real fun... Fill a pint glass a little more than halfway with Guinness... Then get a shot glass filled with Bailey's and Jameson... Drop the shotglass into the pint and chug. Carbomb, very good.
I got thrown out of the Guinness brewery when I was in Dublin.

Killian is, IMHO, one of the most awful beers in the world.. To me, it tastes like Natural Light with some Boone's poured in it.

Carbombs are fine with other beers, but to mix anything other then another Irish beer with Guiness is blasphemy to me.

How 'bout a Black and Tan the best of both worlds.

I found something new in Charleston, Sc, a Black and Blue.  That's right Guinness and Papst Blue Ribbon.

Another Chuckton drink an Irish Car Bomb. 1/2 pint Guiness, 1/2 shot Baileys and 1/2 shot Jameson.  Drop the shot in the beer and drink.

Damn ACID beat me. I thought I was on to something new.

Killians is red because of the brewing process. There are beers out there that do use dyes, though. Its not bad, but I think I would still go with the Guinness

YES!!
Sometimes a Guinness and Harp together (orginal black and tan). But nothing like a Guinness on tap with a nitrogen system. Try a good shot of Irish whiskey with it.

Check your Guinness bottles.
All the ones I have seen lately are being produced in Toronto, Canada.

I believe it is not the same as what used to come from Dublin.

Doesn't taste as good.Anyone else notice this?

Yep, it'll be Guiness... at least the first few, then I'll revert to Dr. Beck's...(green bottles!)

Your a sick man (athough Becks isn't too bad)....with all the great beers brewed in WA and you come up with these?  Guinness on nitro is definitely the best for St. Pat's though.

Yeah, I know, I know.  I have been there and done that.  Now, the Carbomb, that's what I'm talking about.  Thanks.

Of course the Irish Carbomb!  Not only does it taste soo freaking great it has the honor of having the best/most politically incorrect name I have ever heard for a drink, while still being somewat subtle.  Also do note that Jameson's is another great irish whiskey (my personal favorite).  Have fun!

Sorry laddies, but when it comes to have'n a wee dram of the Irish (whisky ,boys) If you've not had Tyrconnell not only have you missed the boat, but you got lost on the way to the dock.

Don't believe the bs that Anhieser Bucsh (sp) tells you, Killian's is red from dye.
