Classic movie. Right up there with Raiders of the Lost Ark in terms of perfection in the genre...

I wish they'd make a sequel!

The last "Non-PC" movie ever made about followers of the RoP.

Great movie.  I remember everyone staying that it was going to be turkey and that Cameron had lost his mind spending so much on it.

Turned out to be some of his best work.  Funny, mindblowing action , good acting and cast chemistry.  I saw it in the theater when it came out with my (then) wife who HATED that kind of movie.  She loved it.

I saw that movie in the theatre, and you could hear the rounds flying past your head when Harry was escaping in the opening Snow scene!  It was COOL!

Face Off was another good action movie

But Bad Boys 2 was shockingly violent and therefore good. Lots of gunplay too.

I thought True Lies was very entertaining.

I saw it in the theater when it came out, and remember thinking, "He's using a Ruger pistol?!?"

Let's see, AMC is channel...

“True Lies” is a great film especially on my new 1000 watt surround system, it rocks with the sub-woofer. My other favorite gun film is the shoot out in "Heat" (Val Kilmer actually looks like he knows what he doing!!!)

Best scene in True Lies?

I like the part where he lays waste to that floor full of peaceful Islamic jihadists with the Harrier cannon.

It wasn't realistic.  The Harrier can't do what they did in the movie.   So some people have to bitch about it.

Digdug, people bitch about little things like lack of reloads in movies, or some wrong sound effects dealing with guns, and it's all little stuff that gets picked up on.
However, having worked on the Harriers, and KNOWING what can and can not be done, I can't watch the movie without saying anything. Just like a lot of folks here talk about the guns stuff.

It was an okay movie, up to the scene with the Corvette, but overall, it kinda sucked.

Much better action movies out there, like Predator, The Matrix, and the list goes on...

I was down in the Keys on vacation when some of the filming was going on.Never took the time to watch as I was very busy at the time. (fishing, diveing, ect. vacations are hard work. ) It was amazeing how much "STUFF" they had piled up in stageing yards alongside the road.Trucks, trailers, containers, all types and sizes of cranes and stageing, full size jets and all sizes of jet bits and parts, some mock-ups and some appearing to be the real deal.
After seeing all this stuff I did enjoy seeing the movie but do agree some of the action was dumb.It doesn't have to be realistic,it's hollywood. It entertained me

great movie- one of my favs  two things bugged me - The long drawn out "wife cheating" thing and the harrier taking off 5 feet from the actors- one- they would have been blown away and two the would be deaf 10000000 times over-  but that did not ruin the movie!!!

Surprise, surprise, surprise.

Though it has not been officially confirmed OR denied,  it is believed that JLC is genetically
MALE and has the condition known as testicular feminization.

It is known that she (or perhaps he) had a birth defect of the sexual organs that required
surgical intervention in early childhood.

CJ

Actually I have heard she could be more described as both male and female.  She has a vagina but also has internal undeveloped testicals. If you think about it, if you turn a man's reproductive anatomy inside out you pretty much get a female.

I used to work at UCLA Med Center and the rumors from the old timers were that she was a hermaphrodite and had surgery there to make her appear totally female.

I think Tom Arnold made the movie.  He is a riot.
