OK, this sandwich is awesome!

Take bread (actually, a lightly toasted bagel works great) and spread on a medium layer of cream cheese.

Put a nice layer of turkey down.

Thinly slice a Granny Smith apple and put some slices on the turkey.

A few slices of good buttery cheese (like a German Butter cheese, Edam, even some Gouda - if not available, cheddar works well if it is pretty sharp).

Top off with cranberry sauce (if you have access to a Kroger, get there Cranberry Celebration salad).

WOW!  This sandwich, called the Turkey Dinner Sandwich, really takes the cake.

Really sounds good. Try:

Toasted buttered bread
thin sliced turkey
stuffing
gravy
whole cranberry sauce
side of beer

Get a hoagie style bun/roll. cut it, then take the bottom half and:

start with a layer of Thinly sliced turkey (deep fried is great!)

sprinkle on some 'cajun seasonings'

add a layer of swiss or equiv chees

add a layer of sliced jalapeno's

add a layer of swiss or equiv cheese

Place this half of the sandwich (open faced) under a broiler/toasteroven until chees starts to melt, then lightly toast the top half of bun/rollthing along side the bottom.

Remove from under broiler/toasteroven add lettuce and tomato and a touch of mustard (spicy brown or dijonstyle)

assemble the sandwich and eat.

Geez, Grock, I thought you said "simple."

Like; Two slices of wheat bread, a good helping of Miracle Whip and shredded turkey, white and dark.

The only way to make that simple sandwich better is to cut it in half and plop a big helping of mashed potatos between them and gravy over everything. Mmmmmmmmmm
