U.S.A. mags are worthless!
I bought pre-'94, factory, everything I could. Now you're sayin' Kerry is in there.  20 per rifle is my norm...10 is not bad either. Get what you can while it lasts...happy hunting. |

Best Thing About The Sunset Is....
Another win in the RKBA column. As much as I'd like more affordable mags, collapsible/folding stocks, flash suppressors, etc; giving the anti-gun mob a severe set-back and defeat is worh more than any of the other perks. |

.... what he said. Getting 15 rounds in a grip made to hold 15 rounds, and being able to add folding or telescoping stocks is great, but between more states adopting CCW laws and this silly law expiring, we're not sliding down the slope as fast anymore. |

The best thing?
Getting back a bit of the freedom that was stolen from me by people that obviously have no clear understanding of what the founding fathers of this country intended when they established it in the first place. I dont want to sound unhappy about the AWB sunsetting but isnt it interesting that we are all celebrating getting back what was OURS IN THE FIRST PLACE! Would anyone throw a party for if a thief was caught and stolen goods were returned? I am grateful that some people at least had the presence of mind to build a term into the 94 ban...and that it wasnt a permanent law. The best thing is indeed taking back my stolen future! |

The "Best thing" about the AWB sunsetting will be the solemn, candle-light vigil the anti's hold the night before to mourn the thousands sure to be killed by AW's the next day
 I can't wait to watch that crap happening all over the country There'll be speeches and ominous warnings and a great wringing-of-hands all around...lolMeanwhile.....all across the country (In one hour increments) busy little dudes'll be goin' to work

MWG starts making more 90 round mags for my AR amnd my mini-14, and I always wanted factory 20 round mags from Ruger for my mini-14.....

it will be nice when it's DOA and nothing happens. just like when a new state gets CCW and nothing happens.
nothing says worthless like "this law just changed dramatically and NOTHING bad has happened because of it".

And I can't find it now but Steyr was talking about Colt AR's Those marked Colt Gov,and colt AR/15 will be worth more because they will be real collectors! And some early PWA will be colectors because they quit making them on 86! The same with some 20 rnd mags that were made before 1970(original Colt mags) UI with aloy followers! They are not mentioned in the AWB but are rare! When they are gone they are gone!! Bob

The best thing will be...
Beta C mags at a reasonable price! A civilian HK rifle that doesn't look like crap like the SL-8 does! BRAND NEW MAGS! Real prices on folding stocks! Maybe the return of COOL, NEW weapons to the civvie community!

The best thing about the end of the AWB is nothing. Thats right, nothing. Nothing will happen. No blood will flow in the streets. No crime waves with machineguns will ensue. There will be no pandemonium or mahem. Rifles will not shoot any straighter nor will they become more powerful. There will in short be no change except that on paper that made silly things illegal.
