They make great post hurricane meals post-hurricanes with easy cleanup and high cal/carb content for working during the cleanup.

The chili mac is my favorite, followed by the ravioli.  The manicotti is surprisingly good too.

Jambalaya shouldn't be on that list

The best MRE is the beef enchilada.

Definitely +1 on the Chili Mac, especially if you get the time to heat it up.  Couldn't beat the beef frankfurters for an afternoon "pick me up" - they tasted just like those beef sticks you can buy at your favorite local watering house.

I like the beef and mushroom, and hate the cheese tortellini.  Pork chow mein is also not bad with rice.

bbq meatballs and rice(?)...i almost cried when they canc'd that!

i was pissed when they took the jalapeno cheese outta the beef stew! nothing better than slicing the bag open sideways and dumping in the cheese, crushed crackers, and a coupla tabasco sauce bottles with a dash of black pepper (from home)! mmm, mmm, goood!
