I have a kel-tec 9mm, yet I just can't get used to or even like the DAO trigger. I like the 9mm cartridge, but I am considering the 32acp as well. I want something that is light, easy to conceal, yet isn't a BBgun either. I would like some suggestions from people who have a CCW and what your experiences are (real world)?

The Kahr P9 is my CCW pistol of choice. It is thin, light and easy to conceal. It also has a nice smooth trigger.

I'm not really that big of 9mm fan but I do use it cuz it's nice and small and you can have a bunch if it. The Kel-tec is to small for me so I like the Glock 26. It's small but you can really hit something you want to with it even up to about 50 yards! it will take my Glock 19 highcaps to. If get the Glock you don't have the trigger stuff to think about but it you will need a SOB of inside the pant holster cuz it will print more that the p9 will.

I will look into the G26, I have a G19. At first I really liked the kel-tec in theory, but in practice it is just not that good. Unless someone is close to you, it's pretty much worthless. I was thinking of some type of 380 or 32 for my girlfriend, the recoil of the kel-tec was too much for her. What do you all think of the beretta "alley cat", I like the kel-tec P-32 in theory, but I am afraid of the same thing with it.

I love my HK P7M8, very concealable, highly accurate witht he fixed barrel and ultra reliable. You won't be happy without at least one in your collection idaho-ar15

My choice as well when I can't or don't want to carry my 1911.

Ask Clint Smith or Col. Jeff Cooper...and they'll say a 1911A .45acp (they MIGHT even suggest a Glock). I laugh everytime someone says a 1911A is too big to conceal, as they are very slim (especially with Thin Grips) and suck-up to your body in an IWB holster. Kahr seem to be really thin and have a nice DA trigger pull. Whatever you go with, make sure it's .40 S&W or larger if you can help it. Quote from Clint Smith: "When it comes to busting caps to save your life, you'll be thinking to yourself 'Why don't they make a bigger gun'!?!". Truth in humor.

My Officers size 1911 or a glock 27. Both are very concealable and pack a nice punch! Ybbeat

S&W 640 in .357 mag pre sell-out. Second choice would be Glock 26 or 27. You'll start to realize the weight of these pieces when you have to carry them around.

My SIG P229 or my HK USP .45 Compact. I really don't care for really "small" sized guns (but there's nothing wrong with them, of course). The SIG P239, Kahr P9, Glock 26, and Colt Officers model are all great guns. Tyler

Kel-Tec P32 works best for me. For me, being totally concealed is far more important than having a little extra horsepower. In my office I never have to worry about it being exposed like a belt clip might. You really don't realize you have it in your pocket most of the time. I own a P11 and several other S&W 9mm's. I love the guns but they don't carry as well.

I love my KT P32. It's the gun I carry when I'm not carrying a gun. It comes into its own when it's hot and you don't want to wear extra clothes to conceal anything larger. Mine shoots great. I've managed < 3" groups at 25 yds taking my time. In reality it is a "get off me" gun. The rest of the time I carry a G23 or G27. You just can't go wrong with the G26 or G27. Good Luck in your search.
