.22 version. Do they run? Good for a bug?

I have two units. I enjoy them but any modern 380 is a better choice. Having said that, you can get them threaded for suppressors. This makes it a nice bugout bag gun. SRT does the threading.

Great BUG. Run flawlessly, in my experience. I carried an assortment of 380's as BUGs in the past, but the 22lr Beretta wins.

I've got the .25 model. Its a nice little gun, but I have pretty big mitts.

I have to be careful not to shoot my hand!

In retrospect, I wish I bought the .22. Ammos cheaper and might even have better penetration.

Love mine. It's flawless when using CCI mini-mags or better. The only hiccups were with bulk Federal and Remington brass.  Sure, it's not the biggest pistol you can carry but it sure beats prayer and throwing rocks.

I like mine. Runs great with CCI Stinger and Minimags type ammo. FTE lots on standard velocity ammo.

My brother has one. Seems to run OK on mini-mags, but doesn't do so well with cheap ammo. Personally, I'd much rather have something like a P3AT or LCP

The wife loves hers. Runs great on Mini Mags and Remington Thunderbolts.

I have the .25 model as well. Hasn't been out of the safe in years.

A buddy of mine just had a threaded barrel put on his .22LR version.

eta Tilt up barrel is a cool feature. (Colibri and Super Colibri ammo)

Mine is like a little singer.  I have never had a problem with it using CCI ammo.   Bulk ammo quality tends to vary,  some will cycle in it good others will give problems cycling the slide.

I have one that I bought in the 80's and had to send it back because it was a jam a matic. Beretta sent me a new one right to my house in NY with no ffl dealer .
Had to bring it to the sheriffs office to register it and the were like WTF with Beretta doing that but no problems for me.
New one that I got has been great for what it is but prefer something bigger.

Only good for roach size and smaller bugs... If it is a self defense gun you are after, get one that shoots a real caliber. The new 380s (not that that constitutes a real caliber) are smaller than the Berretta 21.
