My brother told me that his girlfriends Brother lost his wife over this gun. So it is a definate buy!  It was either the GUN or HIM , she said so herself, well....... He is now divorced.

Benelli Nova is the only reason NOT to buy a Remington 870. Tom Knapp set the new world record for hand thrown targets with a Nova.

Good reviews from two trusted sources.  A must buy.  Will report tommorow how it patterns.

I suppose proof is in the pudding - I haven't fired mine yet. [It's the "Nova Special Purpose" - 12GA/18.5"bbl/3.5"shells].

Saw it on the shelf for $214; couldn't resist! Fit, finish, ergonomics are execellent.  Way way better than my claptrap Mossberg 500.

Looking to get a mag extension for that extra round or two...

You guys will learn soon enough but I'll tell you anyway. Before firing 3 1/2 magnums, which the nova can handle, option the mercury recoil reduction system.

The spec purp is my favorite 12 ga. pump.

I have this co-worker that shoots the Benelli and has never cleaned it. He has duck hunted in Arkansas rice fields for 3 years now and never so much as wiped it down with a rag. It looks 40 years old and shoots everytime he pulls the trigger. Even he can't kill this weapon.

ugly as sin IMHO, but a great shooter. i love the little button on the pump that allows you to clear the chamber with out pulling a round from the magizene. great for old fasion iowa road hunting. get the recoil reducer. if any gun will break you, it is a 3 1/2 chambered super light pump. i have heard horror stories.
