I noticed on Benchmade's website they are changing from a circle to an oval for the opening mechanism for their knives.  What is this, do they not want to pay spyderco royalties anymore?

I like their old Emerson Tanto designs.

Maybe Spyderco's trying to increase their take $$$$.

That oval might feel funny on your rotating thumb.
