Boy am I dope, I said I'd pick up a heavier set of hiking type pants for my g/f, she has mostly lighter weight nylon stuff from when she was in TN. What a pain in the ass! First off 1/2 the stuff I buy, like military bdus and military type raingear, of course is not readily available in women's sizes. Even the more expensive stuff, like 5.11 tactical pants, has to be hemmed. Why in heavens name would you sell a size 2 pair of pants with a 32" seam? Maybe buy two pairs for a giraffe or something?

Even girlie stuff comes in limited sizes, the only underarmor bottoms in size 2 is the tactical stuff, of course you have to hunt all over to figure that out. Do they think little girlie people do not leave the house or something? Also most places seem to stock limited sizes for girlie stuff, particularly little girlie sizes. They also tend to make this stuff in a lot of "guy's colors" How many women want jet black undies? Too cheap to make additional cloth in more appealing colors?

The sizing is a pia the ass also. Guys stuff is such and such inch waste and such and such inch inseam. But girl's sizes are those stupid "sizes" Am I supposed to guess if this company's size 2 is the same as another company's size 4 or what? Plus now I found a place that lists stuff like "Size 2 short" Size 2 regular" and "Size 2 long" but there is no description anywhere on the site of what that means.

Oh Royal robbins has some good deals in their spring cleaning sale, if anyone is interested, just don't buy up all the size 2's on me...

Anyone not 'average' (whatever that is) has problems with clothes. I have to buy my shirts online or the sleeves stop three inches above my wrists. Since I got older and put more weight in the middle I can find slacks off the rack.

Once I was buying the GF a suit. The clerk finally took the jacket from one size and the skirt from a different size to make the sale.

HH and Playmore... You are just killing this older 'leg man'.

I wear a small/ short top and a small/long bottom in BDU/DCU/ACU it sucks. My sympathy is with her. Aimless: Try the boys department for Under armor.

I thought I found a good deal on some Royal Robbins, but after I read the description three times I figured out they were "waist just above the asscrack/bellbottoms" WTF

Yeah that's where I ended up ordering from. They must have minimum advertised price contracts with their dealers-most places charge the same as UA, though there is a guy on e-bay who has good prices on UA. I figured with the smaller size UA was my best of having her sizes in stock.

She still thought my color selection was no good, for God sakes their UNDERWEAR no one is going to see them.

I wear a size 2 in the 511's and have a 32" inseam, but I'm no giraffe baby. I check in at a mere 5'2", and use my height wisely.

For all you math geeks - that's 62 inches, which means that over half my body is all legz

We used to make each others butt comment on our diet
"This is your butt and for the love of God NO MORE CHILLY you will be sorry!"

The best time to do this is when they are in the bank. After the first time I realized it is better to be outside in the car with the doors locked. I ended up incapacitated in hysterics and unable to defend myself or flee. She fell for it three more times.
