Hi Larry, Your M4 configured AR with a 16 inch barrel will not proprely mount a bayonet due to the distance between the muzzle and the bayonet lug. |

Colt makes a bayonet with an extended handle the is designed to work with 16" barrels. It looks ridiculous.

All bayonets fit the M4. You just have a goofy length barrel. |
