Are you trolling? I've never met anyone that likes that movie.

I love that movie. Good silly fun, with the same guys who would save you in real life from an alien invasion as heroes.

Thought it was a good movie. Shame that aliens and zombies are the only bad guys left.
|
|
It's not bad. I watch it when it comes on. Hey, they are blowing up LA.

I liked it too Shame that aliens and zombies are the only bad guys left. I noticed the same thing a while back myself. Zombies have become a politically correct, anodyne version of the Enemy Within, while aliens represent the same thing for the Enemy Without. When the story doesn't allow for a White, middle-class villain, that is. |

View Quote Honestly, I thought I enjoyed it for the gun, explosion, tactical nylon and how Michelle Rodriguez gives me a "I'm scared and pretty sure she can kick my ass boner" but now that you mentioned the whole "blowing up LA" angle..... I might have to see if there is an encore showing tonight. |

I love that movie, yeah it's not deep or artistic...but it's fucking awesome!
That was the very first Blu Ray I watched with my new surround sound setup, and I turned up to 11. It was epic. ETA: The 2nd one I watched with the new setup was Dredd, the epicosity continued. |

Great action flick but it gets a little corney with the little kid
|

I liked it. As a matter of fact I would like to see a sequel - a sequel Hollywood doesn't screw up, which is rare.
|
|
Not a bad flick, certainly better than most of the crap
on nowadays. |

I liked it! Haven't seen it in years, I need to see it again sometime.
I like Harvey Dent's rifle-to-pistol transition near the end. |

The dude slaying aliens by shooting them with his 203 was pretty bad ass.
The movie was good overall, it wasn't too cheesy either. |

Are you drunk? It's an absolutely fantastic movie. Are you sure you didn't watch the Sci-Fi channel piece of shit instead of the actual big budget movie? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It's pretty good, as entertaining as Independance Day for sure

There are lots of recent movies where the bad guys aren't aliens or zombies, or "White middle class" - here are a few very recent examples Fury - Germans Maleficent - evil witch Captain America: Winter Soldier - Hydra (super villains) Lucy - drug dealers Unbroken - Japanese The Equalizer - Russian gangsters Sole survivor - Taliban Godzilla - monsters (not clear if they are aliens) Transcendence - dangers of technology The Hobbit 2 - Orc and Goblins |

I liked the movie enough to buy it on DVD...I also bought an ACOG

Battle LA is one of my favorite movies. However, I'm a bit disturbed that many of you apparently developed a lust for ACOG after watching it. Sick!

I liked this movie as well. Not a masterpiece but its a stop her when channel surfing movie for sure.

Good movie, but pretty typical for what it is. At the beginning of the movie it takes 200 rounds bring down and kill one alien in a Jacuzzi. By the end of the movie they are getting virtually one shot kills, and then the Sgt. starts drops one of them them with a 9mm? That can't even stop a crack-head but it devastates alien armor... Fun flick to watch though
