I'm currently watching this on The History Channel and I'd definitely recommend it.  One interesting factoid: the model for Batman seems to have been Teddy Roosevelt.

I watched it.

That and BATMAN TECH were both pretty cool.

IMHO, the Batman of the comic books is a selfish prick.  He puts his personal moral code that forbids him to kill above the lives of thousands of people who villains like the Joker have killed because Batman refuses to kill him.  He keeps capturing him and putting him in jail only to have him escape over and over and kill more innocent people.
It's a good thing to value human life, but when you put your own personal morality above the lives of innocents that you could save, you're not a hero...you're a villain.

Huh?

I hate Terry Gross, but this was an interesting interview Interview with Bob Kane

A few minutes into the show they said that the psychological model for Batman was Teddy Roosevelt.  I thought it was weird, too.  But it's on TV, so it must be true...right?
