You can do the same thing with yahoo mail, its still free there.

Yeah, but now the bastards at Yahoo! charge you if you want to actually download your mail via POP3 and a mail client such as Outlook.

That cheesed me.

So, I got a Hotmail account, just for kicks.  Never used it or distributed it.

Within 3 days I was receiving spam.  Fvck 'em.

Changing emails sucks. I think soon I will have to pay this stupid yearly fee.

hotmail, yahoo(unless you opt out) and others like them will sell their list of emails to anyone with the green.

my hotmail gets 100 spams a day. its only used for spam and for MSN messenger. ive have 3 others for various uses.

It is just the best reason I've seen yet to kill my hotmail accounts.  40 spam mails a day gets old.
