Bass Pro in Gurnee, Illinois, NO AR15's. I heard that this place has a rifle range, and I called them to see what is allowed. They have a 25 yrd indoor range, and allow up to .378 there. Guess what? No "assault rifles" That is such B.S. I remeber someone a while back calling one of the places in FL, and getting them to change. Maybe you all can help? There number is 847.856.1229 c-rock www.illinois-shooter.org

This is the response I received from Bass Pro Shops main office when I complained about a store in Michigan. From: Steve Kuhn SKuhn@basspro.com Thank you for the response. Bass Pro policy does not restrict weapons by anything other than the items I listed in my earlier e-mail. The man you spoke to was misinformed and I can assure you that you can feel free to shoot on our range any time you desire. I have personally spoken to all Store Managers who have ranges and clarified our policy. If you ever run across any problem in our range please call me directly at (417) 873-4796 or speak to the Store Manager. The store manager at the Auburn Hills store is Tom Sokolowski. The exceptions are: fully automatic weapons or weapons that fire bursts are prohibited incendiary, armor piercing, steel core, zinc alloy and exploding ammunition is prohibited ammunition developing a velocity exceeding 3500 fps is prohibited
