Its been at least 7 years since I played Basketball, but now I found a group of guys to play with at my gym.

If anyone knows of good shoes to suggest please do.

I need ankle support and willing to pay up to $150 for them.

thanks

Well, it depends on what style you want. A lot of the more popular brands are going to be fairly brightly colored.

Here is a good source and where I buy a lot of my shoes.

Go to academy and try a few pairs on.  No need to spend $150.  Try $50-$100.

If ankle support is a major concern, I'd actually lean towards good ankle braces and low tops. The braces will support your ankles and the low tops will fit better. Trying to get high tops over ankle braces can be difficult, and honestly, high top basketball shoes won't prevent your ankles from rolling.

Cheech and Chong, 1973, "Los Cochinos" George Harrison is playing guitar on that -- one of the start up shoe companies used the song in the 90s for shoe commercials.  Knight maybe?

Musicians who appeared on the record included George Harrison, Carole King, Billy Preston, and Tom Scott. The Blossoms and Michelle Phillips (from The Mamas & the Papas) performed vocals as cheerleaders on the track.

And tower of Power last year too

This is a great suggestion. I prefer the lace up type braces.
