I am apparently sensitive to dairy so I can't use whey. I've been using the EAS soy protein from wal-mart I love the taste and seems to help. For me I don't think there is a cheaper alternative unless someone here could help me out?

You might want to do some reading about soy and testosterone levels. I recall seeing a study or two that linked soy with low testosterone.

I'm happy with EAS from Sam's club in the big bag. Not happy with the price increases.

Locally Sam's got MuscleTech in as well. I figured I would give it a try and have been very disappointed. I can't say that it is actually bad but it taste more like cake batter than vanilla and is extremely fine particles (read near dust). I will be switching back to EAS next week.

I have been using the Creatine blend from Body Fortress for quite some time now. It tastes pretty good and I have added 10 pounds of lean muscle while increasing my indurance. When I lift I superset about half of my routine becouse of time limitations. I dont burn out and I go full steam ahead while in the gym for almost an hour straight. I was using a regular protein powder at first, but I was puting on bulk that I didnt want, thats why I switched to the creatine blend. Its about 15 bucks for 3 pounds at walmart

NOW Pea protein.

The only reason to use casein over whey would be for appetite control. But really, if you're trying to lose weight there is no reason to supplement protein. You can easily get enough from your diet at 10-20% below your normal caloric needs. Just cut back on carbs.

I use Isopure zero carb post workout in the evening. Breakfast is 50/50 mix On casein and egg.

Don't get the nasty GNC or wtvr brands. Full of crap and grossly overpriced.
I use either trueprotein.com or musclefeast.com
true protein has promotions every now and then, which are awesome. Also have a discount code, if you're interested. NNS737

Thanks Hank! I am going to buy from bodybuilder because they have a 8 serving trial size assault for free and a crap load of other samples, but I am bookmarking this site for my next order!

I use Jack and like it. How does Assault do for heart rate? Can you use it and do cardio?
