I watched a lot of baseball as a kid, and this is something that I've always noticed... especially when compared to football.

At the end of a big game, like the Dodgers and Cubs on Saturday, the Cubs rushed the field and immediately began celebrating.  The Dodgers immediately disappeared into the clubhouse.  I've always noticed the losing baseball teams to do this.

The end of football games always have both teams on the field, the coaches always meet and shake hands, and the cameras always seem to pan around to watching players on opposite teams greet and congratulate the winning side.   Seems like a good show of sportsmanship on both sides.

I've always wondered why it doesn't seem to happen in baseball.

That's probably what always made me wonder...  of course they made us do it

They don't rush the field and jump around after every game.
