Hello guys,I have 2 questions:
1)I need some info about the differences between preban and postban rifles, what does the words "preban" and "postban" mean?
2)Are there some differences between .223 remington barrels and 5,56 NATO barrels? Are there some differences in the chamber? If positive, can You give me the pressure difference?
Thank You very much.

I can help some with #1

Pre Ban is a rifle made before 1994 when the ban went into effect. The post ban rifles cannot have (in addition to the pistol grip and detachable mag) a flash supressor, bayonet lug, or collapsable stock. You can however have a muzzle brake on it. You might want to look in the Legal Issues forum for more info. Good Luck!

As for #2 - I am not aware of any difference between a .223 Remington barrel and a 5.56 Nato barrel as far as what you can shoot in them.  5.56 Nato is simply the military designation for .223 Rem.  There should not be any problem with pressure.

If I am wrong here I will gladly stand corrected.

I can understand the question between 5.56 NATO and .223.  In the .308 there is a difference between .308 WIN and 7.62 NATO.-- The 7.62 NATO has significantly less pressure.  It is wise to be careful in ammo.

With that said, I am not aware of any difference in the .223 and 5.56 NATO.  Like said above, it seems to only be the NATO designation.

You are kinda on the right track, but I think you have it slightly backwards.  In my experience the 7.62 NATO stuff is really hot.  And I believe the 7.62 NAT0 chamber is longer.  If you wiegh a 7.62NATO case, it will weigh a bit more because it have more metal, therefore it is stronger in the head end.  Check out the Fulton Armory site at http://www.fulton-armory.com/ that have a bunch of FAQs on 7.62NATO(308WIN), 5.56NATO(223REM).  Have fun.

There is a tiny bit of difference in .223 and 5.56.  The 5.56 throat is a tiny bit longer, not much.  I know the ArmaLites/Eagle Arms will shoot either with no problem.  You really should check with the manufacturer of the rifle to make sure if both .223 and 5.56 are okay.  SAAMI says to do this.  Go to this address for an explanation of the difference.
