I realize that no one has a crystal ball that can look into the future, well maybe some of you do, but how do you think history is going to treat the first African American POTUS? Will he be known as the great savior of health care by the creation of Obama Care which delivered us into a socialized health care system and fundamentally change this great nation forever for the better? Will his face be atop Mt. Rushmore? OR, will he be remembered as the anti American socialist, which he is IMO, who swindled his way into power and who’s attempt at destroying America failed and forever leaves his mark in the history books as the worst POTUS ever? OR, do you see it playing out a differnt way?

in 50 years ? , I'll see him in hell
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:08:34 AM EDT
I'm guessing history will remember him only as the first "African-American" POTUS or first POTUS "of color"
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:10:03 AM EDT
People across the land will incorporate his name into patriotic songs and stories speaking of our era.

Just kidding. One of the worst POTUS ever.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:10:39 AM EDT
worst president of the last 150 years now
it can only get worse.

Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:12:09 AM EDT
The U.S.N. will name it's first Fairy after him.

Impeach Obama for the Good of the Children.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:12:14 AM EDT
Obama over spent this country
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:13:49 AM EDT
He is only 50 now, he could very well still be alive in 50 years.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:14:15 AM EDT
History will not be kind to him.

Not likely, the guy smokes and has a history of drug abuse. He'll probably get lung cancer from all those cigarettes he has enjoyed over the years.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:17:08 AM EDT
With any luck he will be remembered as the American Mussolini.

History books will blame the Republicans for the bad "perception" of Obama. They'll extoll his advances in healthcare for the common man. He'll have buildings, streets, airports, etc. named after him. He's like FDR, history textbooks only look favorably upon presidents that did things beyond their Constitutional allowances.

He'll likely have a monument in DC before I die.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:20:35 AM EDT
Liberals have their hands in the education of our youth and the writing of our history books.

He'll be remembered as a unique individual that challenged social mores and latent institutionalized white racism to become the first American black president. He will be lauded as a man who came from obscure beginnings, taught law at a prestigious university and once elected president created universal health care while taking down Osama.

You know it.

This.

We will not see the last of him after he leaves office. He is going to be a PITA to this country long after his stint as POTUS comes to an end. Probably some position in the UN or as the head of some "philanthropic" organization (see Soros).

Carter's place in history is a parallel to what Zero's will be like.

If Zero wins a second term look to how North Korea writes history to see how Obama's will be written.

Jimmy Carter today.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:29:03 AM EDT
BHO Boulevard will be a common name for ghetto thoroughfares.

Unfortunately I’m inclined to agree with you, especially if he wins another term. I believe the republicans would have to have a significant victory over him in Nov, Obama Care be overturned by the SCOTUS ect ect in order for it to be written in any other way.

MLK Jr. approves.

I think he will be considered the high water mark for socialism in this country.

Yes, I think things are going to get better.

I think in 50 years Obama will not be judged for the color of his skin but for the content of his character.

In other words, Americans will ask themselves this question in 50 years: What the hell was wrong with people in 2008???

If this country manages to survive, I predict his name will be erased from just about everything. He will be found to be a fraud, an enemy of this great country, and not eligible for the office he holds.

At least, that is my fervent hope.

At lease someone is optimistic

Link Posted: 1/4/2012 7:00:02 AM EDT
He's not exactly Jackie Robinson, though I doubt anyone in the media or the black community will ever admit what a disappointment he is.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 7:00:29 AM EDT
Still the worst president to date.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 7:16:25 AM EDT
He will be revered as the founder of the United Socialist States of Amerika.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 7:23:43 AM EDT
He'll be known as our first black President, but that's it.

Said he'd close Gitmo: didn't do it.
Said he'd implement affordable healthcare for all: didn't do it (in fact, he's making it more expensive for those of us who can't afford it)
Said he'd end the wars: kind of did it, years behind schedule, and only half way.
Ran on a campaign of Hope and Change, and didn't deliver a damned thing.

Whether you agree with his plans or not, anyone with an open mind can see that he completely failed to get any of them done. Perhaps we should be glad, but it still makes him an impotent, useless leader when he can't get anything done with a Super Majority.

Oh I don't agree with you on this point, he did deliver a lot of hope, Hope that he gets impeached, hope that he gets thrown out of office, hope that he arrested as a traitor, hope everybody now knows what he's all about, hope he looses by the biggest margin in election history in November and the greatest hope of all, the hope that we never hear anything from him ever again!

The commies who will surely own the future will rewrite history to paint him as a great step forward on the road to progress.

I will dedicate an outhouse to him.

At some point in the future he will be outed as a guy male prostitute in his youth
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 3:07:57 PM EDT
History will not be kind to Barry Soetoro, nor the other players in the long term game of Burn the Constitution.

In 50 years It will be all too clear, even to the most daft, that Barry was only one of a long list of anti-American asshats who were elected by the idiocracy, and who were hell bent on destroying the greatest experiment in human freedom ever.

You will be there?

There will be statues of him everywhere and streets adjacent to MLK will be named after him.

In the end, it will all be desecrated, just like the streets named after MLK.

I would hope by then that our national obsession with race will be in the past.

Aside from being the first black president his tenure has been unremarkable.

I predict that he will not be talked or written about much 50 yrs from now.

Not Likely. He looks really old in his last pictures. I bet that he dies of Drugs or AIDS in less than 10 years.

Impeach Obama for the Good of the Poor.

A mere footnote in history, an experiment that failed.

1. We had this discussion last night: why is it that minorities seem to see and emphasize races, while us "racist honkies" just see people?

2. Not in his own eyes.

3. Depends, 1 term or 2?

I think its a tactic they use to demonize and manipulate other people to get what they want, and the left helped fine tune that tactic.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:33:56 PM EDT
He will become another Kennedy.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 6:37:15 PM EDT
That Obama could get elected, I am not sure that there will be a USA in 50yrs.

Link Posted: 1/4/2012 7:01:53 PM EDT
He'll still be the worst POTUS ever and we'll all still be "racist" for disagreeing with his policies.
Link Posted: 1/4/2012 7:04:36 PM EDT
He will be famous for the beginning of the decline of the USA.

If there is a God in heaven, he will be rotting in a Federal prison cell for the crimes he has committed against our country.
