A muzzle-loading AR upper might be a cool idea! You could use the lower you are already familiar with to hunt another season!

What powder FFG, or FFFG?
What charge, volume or weight, and what is the charge?

Inquiring minds want to know

I'm using Pyrodex pellets. The first charge was 100gr pushing a Thompson Center Shock Wave Sabot 50 Caliber with 45 Caliber 250gr Polymer Tip Spire Point.

For those who consider black powder entirely too modern a propellant for their AR15, some one makes a crossbow upper.

America!  What a country!

And you could carry multiple uppers as speed loaders!  Just pop two pins, slap on a new upper, and you're reloaded!

If it was a Semi...hard to tell, it would ahve the "Oomph" but it would also gunge up the gas system VERY quickly.  THIS one however appears to be a Single-shot..I have to say i'm impressed.

I would buy one.  As long as it was easy to access the breach for cleaning.

Of course it is. Black powder should be used in traditional black powder weapons, IMO. I'm not even a fan of in-line BP. To each their own.
