I've got a backorder from midway right now on an AR15 multitool that they told me was in stock when I ordered it. I was pretty buitthurt when I got the email explaining how backordered items work, after I never ordered any backordered items......

I had a bullet order from them on backorder for about 6 months before I remembered it. I checked their site and the item was in stock, so I ordered again, canceled the backorder of the same product, and received it 2 days later.
I like them for their selection, and good website, but they do drop the ball on some things. |

They are out of stock to often. I want to buy parts for an upper and at least half are not in stock. You can buy a gas tube but not a gas tube roll pin.

i have an item on back order from dealtxtreame.. its been that way for 2 yrs..
I have not been left to die.. I get emails asking if i want to cancel... I say no.. at first its cause I wanted it.. know its to see how long it goes.. cost ? $11.83

Thats funny, I had the opposite experience just yesterday.
I had a Midway backorder cancelled after waiting almost two years. The order/product was two 100ct. packs of 230gr Win FMJ .45 cal bullets. One would think that they would be able to get these in stock. Thanks Midway for keeping me on the hook for all that time.

Not funny, Larry Potterfield has donated millions of dollars to support firearms rights and damn near supports every shooting show on the TV worth a damn. I am not one to get butt hurt but that was some stupid childish shit to say. |

That just seems a little uncalled-for. Potterfield, and MidwayUSA, have done an epic shitton of stuff to help support shooters and support the 2nd A.

I'm gonna jump no the beat down bandwagon as well. Midway USA is an excellent example of customer service and a shining example of a company supporting the shooting sports. If every retailer out there donated as much time and money as them, we would be living in gun owner paradise.
