My wife's production was not good and my second son, true to his nature now, was a lazy bastard that would latch and fall asleep rather than suck.

My wife also had a very hard time producing and our baby had a difficult time getting latching down. Our Dr even recommended we just switch to formula. Her weight is great and she's progressing ahead of the curve

This is not my wife's case at all, but even if it was, what the fuck does it matter how a mother chooses to feed her baby?

Looks like its starting to matter now.

As others have stated, it's damn sure not always a choice. Definitely wasn't for my wife. She was heart broken when we had to switch fully to formula.

I will never understand the crazy stigma behind formula fed babies. It's absolutely insane to me

When you have to look to fedgov to solve market problems, you're full-on socialist/communist/fascist.

In a free country, the market would fix this regardless of the actions of tyrants in DC.

I can’t keep this straight.

They fire up their base by ripping babies out of the womb/assuring women’s right to do so, but are going to get slaughtered for starving them?

But yes, the Dominion fix is real, among other methods.

Generally I don't care very much. But given the current shortage, if a mother is capable, it will help those who are stuck using formula if they breast feed.

You'd be surprised. Our first child had no problem but the other three refused to breastfeed and were losing weight. It got to the point if she wasn't crying the baby was or both. In consulting the doctor we learned it is not unusual. Baby formula has been around for over a hundred years. A lot of babies have grown up a lot healthier for it.

Speaking of FFS....you seem determined to defend the administration  All of the things you listed are in a small minority of women and if more did breastfeed that were able to it would leave more formula for those that actually did need it.

What did I say in defense of the administration? Biden is a fucking retard, does that help? I am just trying to dispell the myth that mothers who don't/can't breastfeed are lazy. Saying that is just as ignorant as saying gun owners are irresponsible. Some are and some aren't, plain and simple.

My wife has been breastfeeding non stop for 1.5 months but we still need to supplement with formula. And I'm sick of people telling me "there is another option" because there fucking isn't.

There are still several options, wet nurse and buying breast milk off cragslist come to mind

I'm sure I'd be pretty pissed if I had a 0-6 month old and my wife was having issues being able to supply milk. We've been fortunate with all four of our kids and never had that problem.

If you need help finding a specific formula, I'll be happy to check my local stores for you.

There is a difference between mothers who can't breastfeed and those that are just to lazy to put in the effort.  We have 4 kids and a couple of them were nightmares with breastfeeding and we did at times have to work in formula.  There is a good percentage of women who use something as an excuse or are just to lazy to stick with trying though when there is such an easy out as an alternative.

Thank you. We've been going from store to store and also getting friends and family to look for us. We'll be okay. I'm not playing the victim here, I know we will survive and make it work. Its just a little frustratng when I see the same comment over and over again. I should probably get off the internet for awhile lol.

Tit milk it is then.

I’ll laugh when the “new normal” turns out to be women leaving the workforce to breast feed and homeschool their children.

If you read between the lines on the official press releases from the stake holders on this issue….. I’m going with there was some real world class horse fuckery going on.

The sanitary floors and surfaces  comment struck me as a very odd thing to say.

In this thread it’s also super obvious who has actually had to deal with raising babies and who hasn’t.

Yet another election consequence. Anybody think brain cells will bump into each other out there in the village & idiots might switch on a light bulb in their dim skulls? Personally, I'm skeptical.

This is exactly why the black market thrives in socialism.

We're seeing it play out just like it happened in Venezuela.

Both my daughters were formula fed.  Wife didn’t make enough.  Zero fucks given and they’re fine.  Age twelve and fourteen.  Trust me the Karen bitches started it.  Do yourself a favor and tell them to fuck off for me.

Just doesn't add up that with so many Universities and so much equipment across the country that babies are just supposed to starve.  All these experts are they actually capable of anything?

Experts create noise.  When it’s time to solve a problem you need to look  for people who learn from mistakes and are willing to admit mistakes and change course.

What does dead babbies have to do with the subject at hand?  I didn't even know there was a babbies problem in the first place.

The same people saying there were no treatments for COVID short of ventilators are now telling you under no circumstances use homemade formula. They have to maintain control. What they don't understand is that it would be more productive to tell people that breast milk or formula is the optimal choice, but if they are unavailable this formula (recipe) will work as an interim solution.

The current mantra of use formula or starve doesn't give confidence in official medical advice.

The problem is that you don't know who to believe. These are the same people that told us not to treat COVID until it was in an advanced stage.

I'm sure formula is the optimal solution but homemade may be ok for an interim solution. If they don't recommend a solution to feed your baby they are part of the problem.
