There are alot of people out there selling military equiptment, (optics, mags, rails, BUIS) I wouldn't want to take stuff when the boys overseas need it.

Is there anyway of telling if the part is military property,

I have been seeing alot of Aimpoints for sale on the web, any way of knowing if they are civilian or military, can you tell from the numbers (do they have serial numbers?)

the aimpints have sereal numbers, if it comes in a box, and has a -10 maunaul its probably stolen, but otherwise, there are alot of the floating around.

as far as being able to tell if stuff is stolen or not, that can be hard, if the price really is to good to be true there may be a reason.

as for the rails and buis, theres really no way to tell.
