THE OAR FISH WERE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ, soemone pull up the articles.

Edit for the article from a day ago "Are the Oar fish trying to tell us something"

It's actually an old japanese story that when these fish beach themselves they're trying to tell us an earthquake is coming.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/10/23/fishy-mystery-are-beached-oarfish-trying-to-tell-us-something.html

"According to Japanese mythology, the oarfish is a messenger from the dragon god of the sea. In concordance with the messenger theme, in the two years preceding the Tohoku earthquake in March 2011, an unusual number of oarfish stranded themselves on the coastal beaches of Japan."

Become a reserve LEO or volunteer EMT. Then you will get it.

Praying for no damage to the Japanese. They have enough to deal with there.

It's not exactly an uncommon thing in Japan, unfortunately.

When it's a subject of paintings, it's something they tend to be historically used to.

USGS systems say no big deal, at least for the quake itself. Hope they are right.

ETA no tsunami risk, either, it seems:

I can see how our humor seems offensive to others. We definately see things different than most people.

That's what I was wondering. That last one made a real mess of that nuke plant.
