Further proof that liberalism is a mental disorder, they don't understand that you can't legislate the human condition out of existence.

I couldn't decide which one was better to quote, so I double quoted.

These people are out of control. The reason that they feel like they need to tell others what to do, how to beehive, and what that can and cannot have is because they lack the sense to make these decisions for themselves. So the ideas of freedom and personal choice scare the ever living shit out of them, because deep down they know they are not responsible enough for it.

Government control of friendships and feelings.

We are doomed.

apparently this is in England.

http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/45500

In Merry Ol’ England the drive to not offend, or allow anybody to suffer the horrible consequence of hurt feelings, has reached an even more ridiculous height of insanity. With the socialist idea of collectivism urging on the mind-numbed followers of repackaged Marxism, in British schools children in elementary schools are being encouraged to only play in large groups.

The teachers tell the children they shouldn’t have a best friend and that everyone should play together.

The reason for this policy in the schools?

They are doing it because they want to save the child the pain of splitting up from their best friend.

Talk about stunting the emotional growth of children.

So far the only people I've seen who agree with this stupidity are… well the schools themselves and Huffington post. (go figure)

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/02/no-joke-some-schools-now-_n_1396793.html
This is not an April Fool’s joke. And while some may laugh at it, I actually think they’re onto something.

Noticeably the most popular reply to the huff-and-post was a well-written sarcastic take on this dumb policy.

Teacher: Timmy, Tommy, I'm going to have to separate you two.

Timmy: Why? We weren't being loud.

Teacher: But you've already met your quota of 47 minutes of togetherness today. Tommy, you need to play with Oswald Shnerpis.

Tommy: But he ate half my box of Crayolas yesterday.

Teacher: Do a better job of hiding them. That's just Oswald's way of expressing himself.

You will be assigned your friend (just one) and you will be responsible for their daily happiness.

Friends will be assigned according to your standing in the school and political connections.

Why is it tough for government, officials, etc... to realize that you cant mandate, regulate, or legislate morals?

i hope you said that for the irony

While I agree that trying to mandate, regulate or legislate morals rather than LEGALITY OF ACTIONS is a stupid approach, until the failure of that approach is seen it will continue. (sadly)

it is ironic because:

1. They are trying to make us do things.

2. He is saying we should make them do things.

Who's right? Maybe the problem is that we are trying to make people do things that they don't wish to do, or don't wish to stop. Unless those things have directly negative impacts on others, which side is right?

More common sense measures from our comrades on the left.
They should follow it up by making all kids wear solid brown jumpsuits.

then you are against all unnecessary regulations that do not exist to further the ability of society to function, but no further? Examples of what I means are: theft, rape, murder, etc....actions that if allowed would prevent trade and living as a group..........but other things like marriage being a government institution, if removed would NOT prevent society from being able to conduct business or associate freely.....

I think there is a huge difference between "You're not allowed to rape and murder people" and "You're not allowed to play with that other kid anymore because you are not allowed to be BFFs", unless I'm missing something???

Not a ban, just some tool in the .GOV gets to PICK your soul mate!

They may be white, black, brown or yellow; May be male or female, but don't worry .GOV knows what is best for you!

After all they have AI software that uses your browsing history to "determine" what is best for the individual surf!

I really think ARFcom should mandate that 13ers can't be picked on by other members. They must only post positive reinforcing things.
