BBC - Tanzania riots over cashew nut payments

About 20 houses have been burnt down in riots by cashew nut farmers and other protesters in south-western Tanzania, the local MP has told the BBC.

Imagine that, commodity prices fluctuating.

Still, sounds like they got fucked out of the price that had been agreed to.

I have been there.  It is a very poor country, I mean poor.  

Corruption in the government is rampant.  This story does not suprise me at all.
