Sorry everyone, but I couldn't find the original thread...

Using that thread as a guide I went forth and wrote a little HTML to get a radar image to periodically update as an active desktop item. It works perfectly in IE, perfectly in Firefox, and you can see the page reload on the desktop, but in the desktop case it never updates the image. It's like it pulls it from a cache somewhere after the first time it's loaded.

Here's the code:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10; url=file://C:/Documents and Settings/aa777888/Desktop/Radar.html">
<img src=icons.wunderground.com/data/nids/BOX19_0_t.gif>

So my header's got it redirecting back to itself (to the html file that's sitting on my desktop) every 10 seconds, and it loads the image in the body. Again, it works great on IE, etc., but not the stupid active desktop, you can see the image "blink" every 10 as it reloads, but the image remains the same.

Suggestions would be most appreciated.
