Yesterday was Australia Day (their Independence Day) and the gov announces someone as the Australian of the year.  This year the person chosen is someone who is actively seeking the downfall of the “Western” society in Australia, someone who believes that the Western World is the root cause of all the world’s ills (this according to an Aussy buddy of mine).  He is seeking to have all of the aboriginals in Australia compensated for the loss of their land when the English “invaded.” We are seeing this idea in the US AGAIN this year with regards to compensation for slavery.  Compensation for the Native American population wouldn’t follow far behind if the first was ever approved (I know, it has been up in Congress for years).  This got us on to the topic of the current anti-Western view of the world currently.  He and I agree that there is currently a concerted effort to in the world to wipe out the Western (white) society.  France will likely be majority Muslim in my lifetime, Britain has recognized Sharia law, Denmark just charged a politician for “hate” speech when we put together a movie using Koran and Imam’s words showing that Islam is NOT the faith of peace, Germany is kowtowing to their immigrant population.  These are several examples and by no means all inclusive, but it sure seems the world is on the warpath against the idea of Western society.  What say you?
