I was just wondering what peoples' opinions are on these two gun auction sites.  Whcih do you prefer?  Does anyone know which site receives more hits?

AA but they are now screwing with thier sellers on how they get paid.  Went to an Ebay percentage.  Guess greed got the best of them.

I use Auctionarms a lot.  I have never really used Gun Broker at all.

I've used Gun Broker a couple of times.  No real problems other than an item that I didn't think was advertised correctly.  I contacted the seller and he took it back, refunded money with shipping both ways.

You have to be careful with AA, Manny (the owner) took the forums down when his friend got caught shilling up his own auctions.

Once burnt...

I've used both, AA just seems easier/quicker to use all the way around.

Use Warning...  A brother of mine was ripped off over at GunBroker.  Probably could happen with any internet dealing(s).  Just use some common sense and loads of caution.

Thanx for the responses gentlemen.  The reason I was asking is b/c I'm looking to sell an HK USP.  It seems as though most of you prefer AA.  I guess I'll just have to compare seller's fees.  Thanx again.

Put the HK up for sale on the Equipment Exchange, in the meantime, if you haven't already.

When I was shopping for an AR-15 a few months back, I scoured both AA and GB for a nearby gun store that had an AR up for auction.  I was hoping just to save shipping costs, but was able to negotiate a price cheaper than the auction starting price (cash speaks loud when the seller has several in stock!).  Drove an hour, picked up brand new Bushmaster Shorty Carbine.
