Congrats man! I went through in August at the peak of the heat. Lots of memories of making it rain inside a squad bay because it was black flag conditions. From a veteran Marine to a future Marine, thank you to your son for your service!

It's good to see all of those youth out there. Makes one feel good about the future of my Corps.

OP, the proudest day of my life was watching my oldest march across the parade deck at PI graduation. Well, maybe the combat action decorations he received in the tours to follow. God bless your son and your family, and yes there are still a few left!!! Semper Fi

Tell you son - thank you for putting his ass on the line now so my old ass can sleep at night.

I just went to my son's graduation at Parris island two weeks ago.

I was never a Marine but I served with Damn good ones.
Be proud pop. |

Congrats. I remember the day my oldest son marched into the hall at Great Lakes. What a splendid day!
It was assumed that his younger brother would join the USMC. He was in drill in MCJROTC in high school and was squared-away. The problem? He discovered pussy before enlisting. |

My wife and I went to a graduation at PI Friday.
She's Navy, and said she felt honored to be there. Not gonna lie, it did choke me up for a moment, even though I'm a Hollywood Marine. |

From an old Marine to a soon-to-be Marine: Semper Fi and welcome to our Corps.

Well, I'm sure you must be proud. Good for y'all!
Anybody who wants that recruiting duty can have it. That little girl in the last pic looks awful lonely. I wonder if one of those recruiters is her dad. |

The drill instructor standing in front of all the civies while they're in the front-leaning position of rest: "JUST FUCKING BEGIN!!!"

I went to my son's USMC graduation March 31 at MCRD SD. I had also been to a poolee family function. I have video of him being yelled at while doing pushups. I told him I had never him do so many so fast with such good form while yelling "Yes Drill Sergeant!"
When I saw the class of 407 Marines graduating, it made me think there is a chance for that generation after all. Another cool thing I saw at the graduation were 8 (or maybe 9) of the new Marines also swore in as U.S. citizens. Two from China, two from Mexico, one from Colombia, one from U.K, one from Mongolia and I can't remember the other(s). Thank him for his service. |

Be proud my friend you did a good job raising a fine young man.
My proudest moment was being able to pin my airborne wings on my son in 03. |
|
Watched two nephews graduate PI. They were growed up after the U.S. got done with them! Please pass on my gratitude to your boy for serving!

Semper Fi Mac!
You done good dad! Tell the future Devil Dog that I appreciate his upcoming service. Is he going to be a Mud Marine or a Wing Nut? |
