Looks like somebody let their domain registration lapse. Assaultweb may be no more.

I sent a message to the e-mail address that acknowledged my initial registration with Assault Web--obviously, I could not write the webmaster since the domain is shut down. The message has not come back as undeliverable, so we'll see what happens. I really enjoyed AW and I hope someone does NOT steal the domain! flashguy

You guys are crazy dont you know what happened? . . . . . . . Its the NWO and the FED's that have seized the site and they are after all of its members. They are going to round up all the members and put them in to re-education camps. this will happen overnight JBT's will secretly converge on each persons house and replace them with Aliens that wear DNA duplicate body suits....

Actually the idea of a good portion of the AW.net membership being rounded up by the feds is not that far fetched...

If they let the domain lapse and someone else registers it, it's not stealing. Stealing a domain is when you hack domain name servers to redirect a legitimate domain away from their registered IP address to an illicit one.

BenDover: Does that quote of yours above mean someone else has bought it, or that it's open for sale?

OK, I will rephrase my response. I hope that Assault Web re-registers their domain before someone else decides to take it. flashguy
