Who knows. The friggin' reporter, in their haste to be first with the story, probably confused things.

Just heard the update on FOX... they said AP reported the story first about contractors shot and killed on bridge. then the AP reported that a gunman was shooting at contractors and then the NOPD killed the gunman... LB |

I just got this update in my email from MSNBC:
------------------------------------------------------ MSNBC Breaking News ------------------------------------------------------ Army Corps of Engineers says 8 people shot in New Orleans were contractors - Police shot eight people carrying guns on a New Orleans bridge Sunday, killing five or six, a deputy chief said. A spokesman for the Army Corps of Engineers said the victims were contractors on their way to repair a canal. Don't know anything for sure, though....damn, I hope they weren't contractors. HH |
