JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –– Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man in an armed robbery outside an Eastside Kangaroo store last month.

On May 23, 2009, police responded to a report of a robbery at the store at 1839 E. Eighth Street. Witnesses described the robber as a young black man with his hair in dreadlocks, wearing a white tank top and khaki shorts.
The man pulled a gun on a victim sitting in his pickup truck in the parking lot.
Witnesses and the victim said the suspect ran behind the business after the holdup. Robbery detectives believe he lives in the area.
