Have the option to pick up a complete mid-length upper for $200, bought new in 2005.

i have a complete Armalite, 6.8SPC that is about 3 years old. No issues to date.
Not sure that helps, but... |
|
my 2011 era armalite 5.56 rifle has been flawless. a bit overpriced maybe but fit, finish and function are second to none
|

|
If it's a Colt it's a copy of an Armalite.
Someone's sig line. Larry G I believe. |
|
Some early bolt carriers had a narrow slot that requires a narrow hammer. Don't remember when that changed.
All that is required is a narrow hammer, or a newer carrier IF it is a problem. |

I have an Armalite AR10 Natioanl Match that is superb. I HAD a regular Armalite AR10 that was an inaccurate piece of crap that I spent a ton of money and time trying to correct but never got sorted out.

|
I've had several Armalite products over the years. Never a problem.
|

I have an Armalite from the early 2000's that is a Cadillac compared to my other ARs.
That's meant to be a complement... |
|
i've read conflicting reports on pairing armalite uppers/lowers with other manufacturers equipment....
anyone had issues with using an armalite m-15 lower with another brand upper? |

View Quote I'm not talking Armalite.. just stuff thats for sale on the web. In building I reject alot of uppers because they don't fit tight & a few lowers, so you'd find the fit issue with anything its not an Armalite thing. |

Some uppers and lowers do not mate well . My experience with Armalite has been great . Besides they sponsored Cola Warrior 5 |

I have a 10 year old armalite, shot it a bunch, zero problems.
|
|
Both my AR's are Armalite... 5.56 and 300 BLK. They're not for sale or trade. I couldn't ask for better.

I have a complete 16" M4 armalite upper I bought over 10 years ago during a thanksgiving special. Love the upper, my only gripe is that it doesn't like wolf or Tula very much.
After a few hundred rounds I start to get stuck cases until I get in there with a chamber brush. Besides that it's accurate and 100% reliable with brass cased ammo. |

Armalite has always treated me good. I have never had a bad apple through them.
Period When I first joined this site, arfcom preached the ABC's Armalite Bushmaster Colt To the best of my knowledge, armalite has not changed and still makes a good product. |

My first upper was an armalite. Got it during a Christmas sale in 2007.
Runs great on everything except on Tula. That stuff is underpowered |
|
I also have had no mating issues with other company's uppers.

I have an Armalite 20" Hbar that's over 20 years old. I have had exactly one malfunction with it in those 20 years. I fired a round and the next round failed to load all the way. I did tap rack bang and cleared it and kept going. Of course this happened on the clock during a competition. Don't know what it was but its never happened again. I would not hesitate to buy an Armalite anything. |

I shot next to a guy at a Thunder Ranch rifle class whose Armailte constantly choked until I dropped a spare Colt BCG in it. Didn't have time to figure out what the issue was.
